Learn Autodesk Revit
Each week will address a different part of the design process as part of one complete project to develop the skills necessary for the Interior Design student to move forward with a career in the industry using Revit for computer aided drafting. The focus is on the development of 2 completed floorplans to be used in your final portfolio
This course is required for all enrolled students. This course is scheduled to run on-site in a face-to-face delivery format.

- Week 1 - hand drafting a floor plan & taking measurements - using an architect scale
- Week 2 - converting a hand drawn plan into a digital set - dimensions on revit walls & exterior
- Week 3 - placing interior walls, doors, windows, dimensions to match building codes
- Week 4 - reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, circulation plans
- Week 5 - –furnished floor plans, dimensioned floor plan, demolition plan
- Revit Midterm
- Week 7 -adding stairs and a loft level
- Week 8 - new revit plan for residential- hand rendering outline
- Week 9 - start a new revit project for residential - hand rendering first
- Week 10 - NO CLASS - FALL BREAK
- Week 11 - Core and shell for residential Revit Plan
- Week 12 - Turn in a complete and dimensioned Revit plan for your residential project
